PIANIST & COMPOSER
Descendant of a dynasty of artists and a favourite student of the great concert artist Alicia de Larrocha and the great maestro Aquiles delle-Vigne, -Academia Granados Marshall de Barcelona and l’Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris respectively- his talent and great sensitivity are recognised both in his interpretations and in his own compositions and improvisations. He has written music for disciplines as diverse as opera, film soundtracks, poetic-theatrical works, documentaries, concert music, music for stories, etc. He is the founder and owner of The Smallest Theatre in the World in Barcelona, where he performs weekly in Solo Piano & Solo Chopin.

When I was a child, on Mother’s Day, I tried to make the best drawing in the world for my mother, I colored it and dedicated it to her with that boundless love. This was my musical drawing for my mother a couple of years ago, the portrait on the cover, this time is of my father.

From time to time I have been lucky enough to be able to connect with some musicians in my life and it is like having a conversation with someone with whom you understand even the silences from the first moment… this happened to me the first time we improvised with the fantastic musician Josep Comas, singer and guitarist of the group Olympic Flame. It was wonderful not to have to carry everything and this wonderful piece came out that I keep as a jewel!

It was a summer night in the Gràcia district of Barcelona with the balconies wide open due to the stifling heat and the roar of the garbage truck… I put on my headphones and pressed enter on the keyboard. A spotlight suddenly appeared on my screen opening my sequencer… and that’s how Beethoven Insomnium Truck was born…
